1. Introduction
Welcome to tatpr. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, process, and safeguard information when you use our website, AI surveillance dashboard, and related services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect two distinct types of information:
Account & Client Data: Name, work email, phone number, company name, and billing information collected during demo requests and account registration.
Surveillance & Processing Data: Video feeds and telemetry data processed by our AI algorithms. tatpr operates primarily as a data processor. We analyze video streams in real-time to detect events (e.g., unauthorized access, safety hazards) and generally do not store raw personal video footage long-term unless explicitly configured by the client.
3. How We Use Your Information
To provide, maintain, and improve our AI video intelligence services.
To send real-time security alerts and notifications to authorized personnel.
To process billing, authenticate users, and provide customer support.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers (such as secure cloud hosting environments like AWS/Azure) solely for the purpose of operating our business. All third parties are bound by strict data processing agreements.
5. Data Retention
We retain Account Data for as long as your account is active. Surveillance Data retention is determined entirely by the client's configuration settings and local storage limits. Once the retention period expires, or upon contract termination, data is securely purged.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (including compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer.
7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Our marketing website uses a limited set of cookies to keep the experience fast and relevant. This is separate from any camera footage or detection data processed by the tatpr platform itself.
Essential Cookies: Required for core site functionality, such as keeping you signed in to the admin dashboard and remembering your session between page loads.
Analytics Cookies: Help us understand which pages are useful and where visitors drop off, so we can improve the site. These are aggregated and not used to build individual profiles.
Preference Cookies: Remember choices you've made, such as dismissed banners, so you're not asked again on every visit.
You can disable cookies at any time through your browser settings. Doing so may affect certain features, such as staying logged in to the admin panel.
8. Data Security Measures
Because tatpr sits on top of live camera feeds, we treat data protection as an engineering requirement, not an afterthought. Safeguards include:
Encryption in transit: All connections between cameras, our processing layer, and your dashboard use TLS encryption.
Encrypted storage: Any footage or event snapshots your configuration retains are encrypted at rest.
Role-based access: Only authenticated, authorized personnel within your organization can view live feeds, alerts, or exported reports.
Continuous testing: Regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT) to catch weaknesses before they become incidents.
For the full technical breakdown, see our Security & Compliance page.
9. International Data Transfers
tatpr is built and hosted with Indian infrastructure and compliance requirements as the default. If your deployment requires data to be processed or backed up in a different region, this is only done under a documented data processing agreement with equivalent safeguards, and never without your organization's explicit configuration.
10. Children's Privacy
tatpr is a business-to-business security platform and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal account data from individuals under the age of 18 through this website. Video analytics performed on-site (e.g., in schools or residential communities) are configured and controlled entirely by the deploying organization, which is responsible for its own applicable safeguarding obligations.
11. Changes to This Policy
As our platform and applicable regulations evolve, we may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date, and significant changes affecting active clients will be communicated directly.
For the full technical breakdown of how we protect your data, see our Security & Compliance page.
